What is the Difference Between the Contact Information Report and a Contact Export?
Procedure:
This information is available in both the Contact Export and the Contact Information/Client Contact Report.
Contact Export
- Go to Contacts
- Choose between All, People or Companies
- Optionally, use the Filter at the top-right to restrict the list based on Clients only, or a Custom Field
- Click on Export at the bottom of the page
- Choose an Output Format (PDF includes just the details visible within the list on the Contacts page, CSV includes all fields, including Custom Fields)
- Click Export
- Click Download
Contact Information Report
- Go to Reports
- Select Contact Information (under Matter Reports)
- Choose whether to include clients of All Attorneys (All Solicitors) or just those of a particular Responsible Attorney (Responsible Solicitor)
- Choose a factor to Group Results By (Client, Practice Area, or Attorney/Solicitor)
- By default, the list will only include Clients with Open Matters but you can also choose to Include Pending Matters and/or Include Closed Matters
- Select Practice Area to just include Clients with Matters in that area, or choose All
- Choose an Output Format (the same columns will be included on Web, PDF and CSV)
- Click Generate Report
