Please note that the success of any data migration depends primarily on the quality of the data set provided to us. Before attempting to migrate your information into Clio, you should ensure that your data is consistently formatted, well organized, sufficiently backed up, and stored securely. If you are not certain, it is recommended that you consult with your Clio representative before proceeding.
Procedure:
Follow these steps from your LEAP account:
Matters
- Go to Reports
- Select Matters and Clients at the top of the page.
- Select Matter List
- Select All for all the options
- Click View Report
- Pick CSV from download options
Clients
- Go to Reports
- Select Matters and Clients at the top of the page.
- Select Client Detail
- Select All for all the options
- Remove the filter of Creation Date
- Click Search
- Toggle the switch SelectedCards to AllCards
- Toggle the switch Excel to CSV for file output
- Select Download
All Contacts (Both clients and other)
- Go to Reports
- Select Matters and Clients at the top of the page.
- Select Clients & Cards
- Select Card Detail
- Select All for all the options
- Remove the filter of Creation Date
- Click Search
- Toggle the switch SelectedCards to AllCards
- Toggle the switch Excel to CSV for file output
- Select Download
