KCS - How to Change a Customer Name in Zendesk

Objective:

  • Change name associated with customer email in Zendesk
  • Customer name is auto-populating incorrect in Zendesk

Environment:

  • Zendesk

Additional Information:

n/a

Procedure:

  1. View/open a Ticket assigned to the customer
  2. Click on the Customer Name tab (currently named incorrectly)
  3. Click within the Name Field to right of the profile icon
  4. Type in the correct Name 
  5. Click out of the Name Field for the changes to be saved
