Why Can't I See the Transactions Subtab Within a Matter in Clio Manage?

Objective:

  • Why Can't I See the Transactions Tab?
  • Matter and Client Transactions tab is empty
  • Transactions (either Client or Matter level) is blank 
  • When I go to the Transactions subtab the Page is Blank

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

Answers:

There are no Bank Accounts created.  At least one Operating Account must be created to track Transactions. 

  1. Navigate to the Accounts tab
  2. Click New in the top right hand corner
  3. Select the Account Type (typically Operating account to start)
  4. Fill out the Account Name
  5. Fill out the remaining information (optional)
  6. Select Create a New Bank Account
  7. Repeat the above steps to add a Trust Account if needed

Permissions to Accounts must be enabled for users to see the Transactions subtab. Only users with Administrative Permission can make the following changes:

  1. Navigate to Settings
  2. Click Manage Users
  3. Click Edit (under the Actions column)
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page to Permissions
  5. Check the Accounts checkbox
  6. Click Save New Information
