Why Is My Clio Contact Not Syncing to Quickbooks Online?

Objective:

  • I created a Contact in Clio but it is not syncing to Quickbooks Online

Environment:

  • Clio Manage
  • Quickbooks Online

Additional Information:

  • n/a

Answer:

Scenario 1:

The Contact does not have an Approved or Paid Bill associated with them.

Create a Bill for the Contact, progress it to either the Approved or Paid state, and then the Contact will be synced.

Scenario 2:

If the contact already has an approved bill, please edit the bill and make an update to it (like adding an invoice note). Then refresh Quickbooks and search for the contact. 

Scenario 3:

If the Contact is still not syncing with Quickbooks, please contact Support
