LawPay Approved My Account but Clio Shows Application Still Being Processed

Issue:

  • Clio Payments application approved by LawPay, but Clio shows "Application submitted. Your application for Clio Payments is now being processed. Clio will notify you about the result soon."

Environment:

  • Clio Manage
  • LawPay

Additional Information:

  • LawPay applications that are submitted with all required information are typically approved the same business day they are submitted, and LawPay strives to process each application within an hour of receipt. Applications that require follow-up may take 24-48 hours to resolve.

Cause:

It's possible that LawPay has found an old LawPay account with your information and has reactivated it instead of creating a new one, which does not trigger the Clio Payments Application page to be updated.

Solution:

  • If there is no other LawPay account with your information, please contact our Support Team
  • Otherwise, please contact LawPay
