What is the Difference Between Matter Description and Practice Area?

Answer:

The Matter Description is often used to title or include additional descriptive information about the case. (ie. Jones vs. Smith or Purchase of 123 Main Street)

The Practice Area field allows you to organize your Matters by type of practice and can be useful for filtering and reporting purposes.
