KCS - Why Don't My Time Entries Match Amounts Billed?

Objective:

  • To learn why the amount of Billed Time showing within a Matter doesn't equal the sum showing on the Billing History Report

  • Clio Web app

Answer:

There are a few possible for reasons for this:

  • A discount was applied to the whole Bill
  • A discount was applied to specific Line Items of the Bill
  • A change was made to the Qty or Rate of one or more Line Items on the Bill, and the Update records checkbox was not selected when saving the Invoice.
