Cannot Change A Matter Billing State (Billable/Non-Billable) on a Flat Fee Matter That has Been Billed

Additional Information:

Cannot change status from billable to nonbillable or nonbillable to billable for Flat Fee Matters that have an invoice. This can be done for contingency and hourly Matters, but not flat fee Matters.

This restriction is also important when Changing Matters from Flat Rate to Hourly Rate

Cause:

Not yet diagnosed

Workaround:

To change the Matter Billing State, you will have to delete the Bill that contains the Flat Rate Time entry. Once this Bill is deleted, you will be able to edit the Matter to change it to Billable/Non-Billable.
