Basic Troubleshooting for QuickBooks Online Issues

Question:

  • How do I resolve an issue in QuickBooks Online

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

  • There can be many reasons things do not sync over to QuickBooks Online. This article has a few troubleshooting tips to start with. If these steps do not resolve the issue, please call out Support team at 1-888-858-2546 option 2. 

Procedure:

  1. Check  your sync status 
    1. This will confirm if your Clio account and QuickBooks online are syncing properly
  2. Confirm there are no error codes
    1. This will provide an error code of any items that did not sync over. The error code is searchable in Clio's Help Center
  3. Check your sync forward date
    1. When setting up the sync for QuickBooks Online, you are able to provide a date you would like the sync to start from. This would be based on the Bill Issue date for your Operating account.
