Why Are My Contact's Email Addresses Repopulating after Removing Them?

Question:

  • How come my Contact's email addresses repopulate after deleting them?
  • Why are the email addresses for my Contacts coming back after removing them?

Environment:

  • Clio Manage
  • QuickBooks Online

Additional Information:

Answer:

The email addresses are repopulating due to an active sync between QuickBooks Online and Clio.

Best practice for email address editing/deletion would be to remove the email address from the Contact info in Clio, as well as QuickBooks Online.
