Answer:
You are able to Share Folders via Clio for Co-Counsel / Clio Connect and Clio for Clients.
Share via Clio for Co-Counsel / Clio Connect
- Click the main Documents tab on the left side bar, or navigate to a Matter or Contact and click the Documents tab at the top
- Click the dropdown arrow beside Edit in the Actions column
- Click Share with contacts from the dropdown menu
- Select contacts for sharing: Start typing the name of a Contact with a valid email address then select it when it pops up.
- Write an optional message: Add an optional message to the email notification.
- Share button: Click the "Share" button to start sharing the folder.
Share via Clio for Clients
- Click the main Documents tab on the left side bar, or navigate to a Matter or Contact and click the Documents tab at the top
- Click the dropdown arrow beside Edit in the Actions column
- Click Share to Client Portal
- Select other client portal participants: Start typing the name of a Contact you would like to include in the client portal, then select when it pops up
- Write an optional message: Add an optional message to the email notification.
- Share the folder
- If the Client Portal has previously been created, hit Share
- Otherwise, click Create client portal and share, which will create a Client Portal for the Matter and share the folder in to it
