Not Receiving Email Notifications to Link Clio Payments


  • I used to get email notification asking me to link a Clio Payment to a client or a matter, but not anymore.  I only got an email that a client has made a payment.

You shared a bill instead of a Secure Payment Link.  Only Secure Payment Links would generate that email.


You've shared a bill with a client.  When you share a bill, you don't get emails asking to you to link payment, since they would automatically be linked to a client and a matter.

If you'd like to get those notification, please share a Secure Payment Link.
