Why Is Some Contact Information Not Appearing In Finished Documents When Using Document Automation?

Objective:

  • Automated documents may not be filling in all the merge fields I specify
  • Missing info in generated document

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Answer:

For system performance reasons, Clio will only populate automated documents with information from up to the first 200 related Contacts on a Matter.  

To work around this issue reduce the number of related contacts on your matter to 200 or less.
