How To Create a Note That Will Appear on a Contact's Dashboard

Question:

  • Is there an option to have a note on the contact sheet dashboard section? 
  • I don't want to create a note because it will be stored in the 'notes' sub-tab of the contact sheet. Is there any way to display the information on the dashboard?

Answer:

Yes, this can be done by creating a contact custom field, which would appear on the contact sheet's dashboard section for your contact. The contact custom field type would need to be 'Text (Multi-Line)'
