Changing a Clio Connect Contact's Email Address

You can view what email address is used for a client's Clio Connect account by going to their contact page, where "(Clio Connect)" will appear next to the email address in use.


In order to change the email address a client uses for Clio Connect, "Edit" the contact. There is a Clio Connect email field where you can add or edit the appropriate address. Remember to save any updates.


Please note: This field is editable only if the Clio Connect user has only 1 account 

If the Clio Connect user has more than 1 Clio Connect account, the text field is disabled with a message as below. This is because the email change will also affect the account under the other Firm, so it's up to the Clio Connect user themselves to make the change.
