You can sync your Clio Contacts with your Google (Gmail or Google Apps) account. Note that the sync will bring over all your contacts in Google, at this time you are unable to only bring over specified folders from Google to Clio.
IMPORTANT: If your firm already shares a common contact list in Google, to avoid creating duplicates please ensure that you enable only one contact sync between Clio and Google.
Click on the gear icon in the Clio header to open the Settings panel. Next, click on "Contact and Calendar Sync" in the Personal column. The sync between Clio and Google is bi-directional.
Beside "Google contacts and calendars," click "Set Up Sync".
On the Google account authorization screen, click "Allow".
[* If you are already connected to Google, skip to the next step.]
Next, in the Clio Contacts section of the page, click "Sync With Google".
Read the information on the contact sync and click on "Set Up Sync with Google."
The Sync will begin to generate a preview and you will see the progress noted:
Next, you will see a preview of the contacts that will be synced. After reviewing the information, click "Start Sync".
Note that it may take up to 24 hours for the first sync to complete.
Disabling the Google sync will prevent any further syncing. After disabling, no changes to Clio Contacts or Calendars will affect Google Contacts or Calendars (and vice versa).
To disable the Google sync, go to the Google sync settings page and click "Remove Sync" in the Clio Contacts section.
