Xero: Setting Up Your Xero Integration

The Xero integration is available to subscribers of our  Boutique, and Elite plans.

Customers in EMEA can find details on whether they are eligible for this integration here.

We are pleased to offer the ability to integrate your Clio account with Xero. In order to use the integration, you must have a Xero subscription.

Note: If you are in Australia, you must set up Two-Factor Authentication before you can set up Xero (see here)

 

Linking Clio to Xero

To connect your Xero account to Clio, go to "Settings" and click on "Bill Syncing":

Click on "Link Xero Account":

Next, you will be prompted to log in to Xero if you are not already logged in. Once logged in, you will have to authorize the integration:

You are able to choose "All Dates" to Sync Bills and Payments for All Time, alternatively, you can select the drop-down next to "All Dates" to choose a "Custom Date" for the start of your Sync. mceclip0.png

The following information can be synced:

  1. Contacts,
  2. Bills,
  3. Payments,
  4. Credit Notes.

Once you have authorized the connection, your Contacts will immediately start syncing.
