To add an extra layer of security, you can set up a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to protect your Clio account on your device. You will be prompted the first time you set up the Clio app, and you can add one at any time within the app's Settings.
From the app, tap the gear icon button and then tap "Security".
Then tap PIN:
Then enter a 4-digit PIN code:
You'll be prompted to re-enter the 4-digit PIN code to confirm.
Once set up, any time you go to the Clio app, you'll need to enter the PIN number you've selected to gain access to your Clio data.
You can modify your PIN number at any time as well as remove the PIN option entirely right from the app. Simply return to the PIN Settings area:
Select PIN and then select to Change or Remove PIN:
Enter your current 4-digit PIN when prompted. If removing the PIN no further action is required; if changing the PIN, re-enter a new PIN number:
If you lose your Android device or have forgotten your PIN number, you can de-authorize the app from your desktop. From the desktop go to Settings > Clio Mobile Apps:
If you have two-factor authentication set up on your Clio user account, you will be prompted to enter your two-factor code when logging into the Android app.
You can choose to use Text Snippets that you have created and managed on Clio on the web.
Show Clio Timekeeper
You can toggle the Clio timekeeper on/off from the Settings menu. When on, the timer is displayed when you access the Global Create menu from the green "+" button.
Edit Global Create Menu
The order in which the Global Create menu options are displayed can be customized. To ensure that your most-used workflows are easy to complete, drag and drop the order.
