To access the Matters page, tap the "Matters" icon at the bottom of the screen.
To sort your listed Matters by recent activity, tap "Date Modified" at the top right of the screen.
To filter which Matters are listed, tap on "Filters" at the top of the screen. You can choose to filter your Matters by Status, Practice Area, or Client. Tapping "Reset" will select all open Matters. Once you have selected your filters, tap "Apply" to return to the Matters list.
To the right of each Matter are three dots which, when tapped, reveal the quick entry functionality. This allows you to quickly add a Time entry, Calendar entry, Task or Note to the Matter:
When you tap on a Matter you will see the Matter Details. If you have any Custom Fields, they will show here as well:
The Timeline is equivalent to the Firm Feed in the Matter and actions that have been entered on the Matter can be viewed here:
The More button in a Matter will allow you to access Matter relevant information:
To edit a Matter, tap on the pencil icon at the top of the screen:
In this screen you can modify the existing information.
Additionally, you can tap on "Add Optional Fields" at the bottom of your screen to add information. Custom Fields that you have created in Clio will appear here:
When you are finished making your changes you can tap on the Save icon to save your changes.
While you are in the Edit screen you will see the ability to Delete a Matter once you select the three dots at the upper right:
Please note that a Deletion is a permanent action. You may be able to recover the Matter via the Recover Bin in the desktop application.
To create a new Matter, tap on the “+” icon in the bottom corner of the Matter screen:
In the new Matter form, you will see fields where you can enter in information and any default Custom Fields you’ve set up in Clio will appear. You can tap on "Add Optional Fields" at the bottom of the screen to populate additional fields in your new Matter:
