Filtering Tasks allows you to expand your view beyond your own Tasks to all Tasks for all Users, and pare down the list as well to specific assignees, statuses, and more.

To open your filtering options from the Tasks page, select "Filter" on the right hand side.
This will expand your Filter options. From here, use the following categories to pare down the displayed Tasks, or expand your view of Tasks that have been assigned. Multiple Filters can be applied at one time.
You are also able to constrain your list of visible tasks according to their due date, by clicking any of “Due Today”, “Due Tomorrow”, or “Due this Week”:
Click on the column headers to re-order the list in ascending or descending order.
The Assigned By Filter option allows the user to search for Tasks that have been Assigned By a specific user, or assigned by any user.
Search for Tasks that have been assigned to a specific user. This allows you to see if another member of your firm has completed items on their docket, or if they have created a Task for themselves that you would have otherwise assigned to them. You can also search for Tasks assigned by any user.
The Status Filter allows you to select to display All Tasks, meaning completed and incomplete Tasks, or you can pare the list down to Completed Tasks only, or Incomplete Tasks only.
Search for Tasks that have been assigned to Matters that are under a specific Responsible Attorney, or you can search for Tasks under Matters that have any Responsible Attorney applied.
Select to display Tasks that have a High priority, a Normal or Low priority, or select to display All Tasks. Priority can be set when creating or editing a Task.
Select to Filter Tasks by an individual Matter. Inputting a partial Matter Number will give you a drop-down list of close matches.
Under Permissions search your list for Tasks that can be viewed publicly and Private Tasks, All, or select to display your Private Tasks, Private Only.
Select to display Tasks that have had Time Entries applied, that do not have Time Entries applied, or All Tasks regardless of Time Entries.
Fill in the Client field with your Client's name and select to display all Tasks assigned to this individual.
Under Search, input a portion of text that has been entered as the Task's name or the Task's Description.
Filter Options under Task Lists is limited to Practice Area or text entered in the name or description of a Task in the List.
