Viewing Your Clio Calendar in Other Applications

We understand that many of our users may have a preferred calendaring application into which they would like to integrate their Clio calendar. With most first-class calendaring applications such as Outlook, iCal and Google Calendar, you can receive your Clio appointments by way of an iCalendar feed, or downloadable ics file. For more information on the difference between a one-way feed and a sync, click here.

To Access Your Calendar ics Files

Click on Calendar in the black bar, then on the top right corner click on More.

Once you have done so, you are done and your feed is added to Outlook.

Google Users

Attention:  You can set up a bi-directional sync between Clio and Google where changes in one program will be reflected in the other.  If you would like to set this up do not continue with the directions below and instead, click here.

To set up your feed from Clio to Google, go to Calendar-Feed and choose either Your calendar ics feed" or "All visible calendar ics feed" or one of the other feeds listed by right-clicking on the link with the green arrow.  This is just to determine what you are bringing over to Google.  You can bring over more than one, but you would do this one at a time. When you right click on the link, you will want to copy the link address: Screen_Shot_2013-04-03_at_1.26.24_PM.png

Next, go to Google and under "Other Calendars" click the drop down arrow and "Add by URL": Screen_Shot_2013-04-03_at_1.27.16_PM.png

Now you paste in the link you copied from Clio and click on "Add Calendar": 2013-04-03_1327.png

The calendar will now be added to Google.

Apple iCal Users

Attention: While Clio does not directly sync with an iCalendar, you can set up a bi-directional sync by using Google as an in-between. First, you would sync your Clio Calendar with Google (steps seen here), and then you would connect your Google Calendar to your iCalendar by following the steps seen here.

To set up your feed from Clio to Apple iCal, go to Calendar-Feed and choose either "Your calendar ics feed" or "All visible calendar ics feed" or one of the other feeds listed by clicking on the link with the green arrow.  This is just to determine what you are bringing over to iCal.  You can bring over more than one, but you would do this one at a time.
