Clocktimizer's powerful visual reports provide you with easy to understand one-page insights in your Matters and clients on the basis of your time tracking data. Compare fees across Matters to create fee quotes and make data-driven decisions with the Clocktimizer drilldown tool.
Clocktimizer makes it easy for firms to:
- Share one-page overviews with clients on the activities that took place on their Matters
- Compare Matters to develop the data driven input needed for determining appropriate service quotes and alternative fee arrangements
- Monitor and manage budgets to avoid budget overruns
- Perform an in-depth profitability analysis on your firm's time tracking data to identify areas that require attention
Clocktimizer can be connected to accounts on both Clio's US and EU servers.
Create a Clocktimizer account by going to one of the following sign-up pages:
Once you have created your Clocktimizer account, you will receive an email within five minutes prompting you to verify your email address.
After verifying your email address you will be asked to select which server your Clio account is on: the EU or the US server.
Select the appropriate server in the dropdown then click the "Connect to Clio" button.
On the "Connect with Clio" screen, click the green "yes, Let's Connect" button (If you are not already logged in to your Clio account, you will be prompted to log in before you can connect).
Your Clio clients, Matters, and time entries will now begin to sync over to Clocktimizer. This process can take up to 24 hours depending on the number of Matters and time entries that you have in Clio. You will receive an email when the import is complete.
There are multiple ways in which you can use the information and insights from Clocktimizer. The following are example activities and reports to help you understand your client and Matter data.
In the left-hand sidebar, click "Drilldown" and select "Client".
Next, select the desired "Visualization" for reviewing your data.
Finally, click on the "Save as new report" button in the "Drilldown" view and give your report a name.
To view your saved report, click on "Reports" in the left-hand sidebar.
In the left-hand sidebar, click "Matter". You can then find your Matter by searching for the name, number, or client.
Click on the appropriate Matter in the Results list to open it.
On the Matter screen, click "Add budget".
On the Budget screen, drag activities to create a budget category.
Click in the "Budget" column to assign an amount to a budget category.
Clocktimizer will now automatically report on your budget progress.
In the left-hand sidebar, click "Fee comparison". You can then find your Reference Matters by searching for the name, client, or type of work.
Click on the Matter in the dropdown list to select it.
Next, select one or more similar Matters or another Reference Matter.
Compare the fees of the selected Matters on an activity level.
