Why is the WIP within the Work in Progress Report Different than the Matter Balance Summary Report?

  • Varying work in progress within the Work in Progress Report and Matter Balance Summary Report

Answer:

Both Reports should have the same balance. The Work in Progress Report includes the Expenses and billable Time totaled together at the bottom, but the Matter Balance Summary Report shows the total for Expenses and billable Time Entries separately.
