Why Can't I Find My Trust Transaction in QuickBooks Online?

Objective:

  • A transaction I added to a trust account isn't syncing to QuickBooks Online

Environment:

  • Clio Manage
  • QuickBooks Online

Answer:

Check the amounts that are 'waiting to be matched'. If there are multiple transactions from Clio of the same amount, you will need to select which transactions they match up to in QuickBooks Online—they don't automatically get matched.
