"Success: 0 invoice generated" Message When Generating Bills

Issue:

  • Unable to generate a Bill for a Client within Billable Clients
  • "Success: 0 invoice generated. Undo View invoices in draft." message when no invoice created

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

n/a

Cause:

If a User does not have permission to view a Matter, they cannot generate a Bill for it. 

Resolution:

Either:

  1. Have a User who does have permission update the Matter to grant the current User permission to view it (see here)
  2. Have a User who does have permission to view the bill generate the bill.
