How to Assign Task Lists From Inside a Matter

Answer:

Assignment Date refers to the date when the Task List was actually added to a Matter. If you assigned this when creating a Matter, it will be the same as the Matter's creation date.

If you add it after the fact by editing the Matter, it will reflect the date that it was added.

If you add a Task List after the fact and choose a "Due Date", the assignment date will reflect the due date.
