KCS - Why did my People type Contacts get imported into Clio as Company type Contacts?

Objective:

If you are experiencing this issue and have not gone through a data migration, please contact Clio Support at 1-888-858-2546 ext 2.

Answer:

When a person is missing first name or last name information, that person has to be converted to a company to ensure correct linking between clients and matters. Please contact your Migrations representative for more information.
