KCS - How To Change Contact Name on Bill

Objective:

  • Change the Contact on an Invoice
  • Change Client on Bill

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

The Contact on the Bill is automatically pulled from the Contact associated with the Matter. To change this, you need to change the Contact associated with the Matter.

Procedure:

  1. Navigate to the Matter 
  2. Select Edit
  3. Remove the client's name in the Find Client field 
  4. Type the new client's name in the field and select it from the drop-down menu 
  5. At the bottom of the page, select Update Matter
