Sometimes the encoding changes depending on settings in your computer/browser/email client. Check to make sure that the '+' sign in the email hasn't been replaced with '%2B'. If so, delete the '%2B' and replace it with '+'.
This can happen when you are attempting to send the email to an invalid email address. Make sure you are sending/forwarding the email to the correct email address.
