What Happens During a Migrations Export Appointment?

  • Preparing data for processing, import for the migration

Please note that success of any data migration depends primarily on the quality of the data set provided to us. Before attempting to migrate your information into Clio, you should ensure that your data is consistently formatted, well organized, sufficiently backed up, and stored securely. If you are not certain, it is recommended that you consult with your Clio representative before proceeding.

Answer:

During the export appointment, the Data Migrations Specialist will guide you on extracting your data from your previous software if any. Once that is complete, we will discuss the specific mapping of information from your software to Clio. When the mapping is satisfactory, we will send the data for processing which generally takes 5-7 business day unless discussed otherwise.
