Additional Information:

Please note that success of any data migration depends primarily on the quality of the data set provided to us. Before attempting to migrate your information into Clio, you should ensure that your data is consistently formatted, well organized, sufficiently backed up, and stored securely. If you are not certain, it is recommended that you consult with your Clio representative before proceeding.

Note: You must request a backup of your data in .bacpac (Microsoft Azure database) format from the Amicus Support team. There is typically a waiting period from Amicus.

Typically, the following data can be exported from Amicus Cloud and imported into Clio:

  • Contacts
  • Matters
  • Related Contacts
  • Notes
  • Unbilled Time Entries
  • Unbilled Expense Entries
  • Calendar
  • Tasks
  • Occasionally Outstanding Balances (Depends on accuracy of data entry. The data once extracted from database has to be validated with customer to confirm the outstanding balances are correct).
