Does Every Document Have its Own Unique ID Number?

Answer:

Yes, every Document has its own unique ID number. You can view this number by opening the Documents tab and viewing the ID header located on the right-hand side of the screen. You can also search for the ID number of a Document using the filter option on the right-hand side and by typing the number in the Global Search field.

If you are not seeing the 'ID' column, please follow the steps below:

  • On the Documents page of Clio, click on 'Columns'
  • Make sure the 'ID' option is checked
  • Click 'Update Columns'
  • The column will now be visible at the very right of the screen
