How Do I Get My Calendar Events Into Clio?

Objective:

  • Transfer data from one Clio account to another
  • Import events from my Calendar into Clio
  • Clio to Clio migration
  • Import Calendar

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

Please note: the success of any data migration depends primarily on the quality of the data set in your original Clio account. Before attempting to migrate your information into a new Clio account, please ensure that your data is consistently formatted and well organized. If you are not certain, it is recommended that you consult with your Clio representative before proceeding.

Note that only an Event's DateStart TimeEnd TimeSummary, and Description can be imported at this time.

Procedure:

If your Events are located in Google Calendar, Office 365, or Outlook Desktop for PC, set up Clio's Calendar sync:

  1. For Google, see here
  2. For Office 365, see here
  3. For Outlook Desktop (for PC), see here 

To import an ICS file:

  1. Open Clio's Import page:
    • For North American accounts, click here
    • For European accounts, click here
  2. Click Add
  3. Under Import select Calendar from iCalendar (.ics)
  4. Select a Destination calendar (Events will be added to this Calendar)
  5. Click Choose File
  6. Select the Calendar file you wish to import
  7. Click Upload File
  8. Wait for the State of the calendar import to reach Complete

To import a CSV file:

  1. Open Clio's Import page:
    • For North American accounts, click here
    • For European accounts, click here
  2. Click Add
  3. Under Import select Calendar from CSV
  4. Select a Destination calendar (Events will be added to this Calendar)
  5. Click Choose File
  6. Select the Calendar file you wish to import
  7. Click Upload File
  8. Wait for the State of the calendar import to reach Complete
