Additional Information:

Creating custom Practice Areas can aid in segmenting reporting, or when reviewing Matters.

Practice Area Codes are used expressly for the LSA Report (see here) and is optional for most users.


  1. Click Settings
  2. Click Firm Preferences 
  3. Select Practice Areas
  4. Click the green Add button
  5. Type in your desired Practice Area
  6. Optionally, type in your desired Practice Area Code
  7. Click Save
