How Does A Contact Document Folder Get Created?

Objective:

  • Understand how Contact Documents Folders get created in Clio

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

When you create a Contact in Clio, a Document Folder does not automatically get created. For more information on what happens when Contacts are created using Contact syncs, please click here.

Answer:

1. When you create a Contact and click the Document sub-tab within the Contact Card.

2. When you create a Matter for that Contact.
