Objective:

• Update invoice numbering to increase the next invoice number
• Have the next invoice created to start at a higher number
• Update bill number
• Change bill numbering scheme

Additional Information:

Please note that while you can change the Bill number to be lower than your current invoices' highest number, the following invoice generated will continue increasing from the highest invoice.

Procedure:

1. View the latest Bill 
2. Click Edit
3. Under ID #, enter the number you want to start at
4. Click Save Invoice

With each newly generated Bill, Clio will automatically increase the previous Bill number generated by the firm by a unit of one.
