In order for the Clio Payments link to appear, you must have already set up Clio Payments.
Note: If your clients mention they cannot see a payment link in the email, it is most likely because your Clio Trust Account is not linked with your LawPay Trust Account. You can adjust this by taking these steps:
- Go to Settings
- Click Clio Payments
- Make sure your Clio Trust Account is "connected" with your LawPay Trust Account
- Go the main Billing tab
- Locate the Trust Request you want to share
- Click Send on the desired Trust Request
- In the Contact field, start typing the name of the desired Contact and select them from the dropdown that appears
- Under Send bill by, check the circle beside Email
- Add Message (optional)
- Click Send bill
