How Do I Delete a Transaction I Manually Entered to the Matter's Bank Account?


  • Delete a transaction manually entered to the Matter's Operating Account.
  • Delete a transaction manually entered to the Matter's Trust Account.
  • Remove a transaction added to a Matter in error

Additional Information:

Once a transaction is deleted, you cannot undo the deletion.

At the Matter level, you can only delete transactions that were added using the "New Transaction" button. If the edit/delete option is not available, it is likely a Trust Request payment and cannot be deleted. See here for more information. 


  1. Navigate to the appropriate Matter
  2. Click on the Transactions subtab
  3. From the Ledger dropdown, select the appropriate bank account 
  4. Locate the transaction in question, click the drop-down beside the Edit button, and click Delete
