Why am I not Receiving an Email Notification for Evergreen Retainers?

Objective:

  • Not receiving a notification when the trust account is below the minimum threshold 

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

  • Only one notification would be sent as soon as the Trust balance dips below the threshold

Answer:

  • A notification will only be sent if the Trust account goes below the minimum threshold after creating the Trust Balance Notification.
    • You will not receive an email if the Trust account is below the threshold when you apply the Notification.
  • An email notification will only be sent to Users who are subscribed to receive it for that particular Matter. To check if you are on the list of subscribed Users follow these steps;
    1. Navigate to the Matter in question
    2. Click Edit matter
    3. Open the Billing preferences section
    4. Ensure that your User name is present in the Notification recipients box, under Trust balance notification.
