Why am I Seeing Multiple Bills with the Same Invoice Number?

Objective:

  • I am seeing multiple Bills with the same numbers, but different versions
  • Several Bills with the same ID number

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Answer:

If you delete a Draft Bill, that Invoice Number will be re-used on the next Bill that you generate.

If you void an Approved Bill, that Invoice Number will not be re-used.
