Why is Clio Removing the Task and Timer Functionality in the New Add-on for Gmail?

Why can't I create Tasks or start Timers in the new Gmail Add-on

Answer:

Gmail recently updated its interface, and as a result Clio has released a new version of its add-on, for compatibility. We have not yet been able to include the Task and Timer functionality, however we are working on getting them added back in a future update.
