Why Are Clients Able to Respond to Sent Bill Emails When it Shows the Reply-To Email Address as 'notifications@clio.com'?

Objective:

  • When I send a Bill with a Client, what email address will the client see?
  • Why does the email say it's from "notifications@clio.com" but when they reply, it goes to my login email?
  • It says "notifications@clio.com" but when they reply, it goes to the original sender

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

  • In order to change your login email address, click here
  • If you wish for the clients to not be able to reply, please share bill via Clio Connect

Answer:

The Client will see the email address of the User that sent the Bill or resource.
