What Do the Time and Expense Totals Refer to on the Matter Dashboard?

Question:

  • What do the Time and Expense totals refer to on the Matter Dashboard?

Environment:

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:

  • When generating a Client Ledger Report, totals reflected in the report may differ from totals shown in the Matter Dashboard if discounts, taxes or write-offs are entered.  
  • Any discounts, taxes, or write-offs recorded during payment will not be reflected in the Matter Dashboard totals. 

Answer:

  • The totals in the Matter Dashboard for both Total Time and Total Expenses reflect the gross totals logged by the Firm on this Matter.
