That person will be sent an email inviting them to join your Clio Grow account.
2. Add your firm branding
To customize the information displayed inside the account, and on forms and documents sent from Clio Grow, you'll want to add your firm information and upload a logo.
To add your firm information and upload a logo:

3. Customize your Matter Pipeline
As you add new leads to your pipeline, you can specify different statuses. A lead may begin as someone who has someone who reached out via email, and when you meet in person, you can move them on to the next step toward hiring you as their legal representation. Each law firm has different intake procedures, so it's handy to customize the matter pipeline.
- In Clio Grow, click Settings at the bottom-left corner of the screen
- Click Matters
- Beside Matter Statuses, click New Matter Status
- Think about a stage or threshold in the intake process that is meaningful for your firm (eg. "Deposit given", "In-person meeting scheduled", etc.)
- Enter that stage or threshold in the Matter Status field
- In the Category field, choose Intake
- Click Create Matter Status
You can also customize the Matter Types available on your account. When you intake a new lead, the Matter Type is displayed along with the contact name. To add a new Matter Type:
- In Clio Grow, click Settings at the bottom-left corner of the screen
- Click Matters
- Beside Matter Types, click New Matter Type
- Enter in a Matter type that is relevant to your firm (eg. Will, Divorce, etc.)
- Click Create Matter Type

An easy way to input new matters into Clio Grow would be via the Quick Intake icon on the upper right side.
