KCS - How to add spam filters to the WordPress plugin in Clio Grow

Procedure:

Honey Pot

The Honey Pot will prevent the form from being submitted if it has been filled out in under 5 seconds. The Honey Pot is automatically active, so there is nothing you need to do to activate this spam filter.

 

Domain Blacklist

The Domain Blacklist will prevent email addresses with certain domains from being able to submit the form.

  1. Go to your WordPress Admin page
  2. Click "Settings" and select "Clio Grow Settings"
  3. Enter the domain names in the “Domain Blacklist” field
  4. Block multiple domains by entering them on separate lines
  5. Click “Save Settings” to finish

 

reCAPTCHA

reCAPTCHA will provide a bot-preventing submission task underneath the form.

  1. Go to your WordPress Admin page
  2. Click "Setting"s and select "Clio Grow Settings"
  3. Click the “Click here” link to obtain a reCAPTCHA key
  4. Enter a label
  5. Select a type of reCAPTCHA and register
  6. Copy the Site Key and Secret Key that are generated
  7. Go back to the Clio Grow Plugin Settings in your WP Admin
  8. Paste the Site Key and Secret Key into their appropriate fields
  9. Click “Save Settings” to finish
