How to Create a Picklist Custom Field

  • Clio Manage

Additional Information:



  1. Go to Settings 
  2. Select Custom Fields
  3. Select either the Matter or Contact custom fields sub tab
  4. Select the Add button
  5. Fill out the Name field
  6. Select the Type as Picklist 
  7. Type in the name of the first option in the Picklist Field 
  8. Select + to add a new option. Continue adding picklist options until you've created your list. 
  9. Check the Default box to display the field automatically when creating/editing Matters
  10. Check the Required box to make filling out the field mandatory
  11. Select the Save button
