How to Disconnect and Reconnect the Office 365 Sync in Clio

  • Refresh & restart the Clio/O365 Sync
  • Stop and Start the Office 365 Sync
  • Disconnect and reconnect Office 365 Sync

  • Clio Manage
  • Office 365

Additional Information:

After disconnecting the Office 365 sync, it is important to ensure that you're providing Clio with the same Office 365 login credentials when reconnecting. When resetting a sync, note that failing to reconnect the Clio Calendar with the original Office 365 account that was linked to sync can lead to duplications or other issues with synced data

As such, Clio advises completing these steps through an incognito window or other private browsing sessions. This ensures that no other active sessions with Office 365 interfere with reconnecting. More information on how to use a Chrome incognito window can be found here.

Any Clio user can sync any Clio calendars that they manage to an office365 Calendar. Only the Clio Primary Subscriber can sync the firm calendar to Office 365. This restriction is in place to prevent the creation of duplicate calendar events during syncing.

Please note: as deleting contacts in Office 365 does not delete the contact in Clio, when reconnecting the Office 365 sync, these contacts will be recreated in Office 365.
