Answer:

We have removed hover from the New Clio Calendar. To see event details, single-click on the event instead. This addresses complaints that hover made the Calendar too "busy" when there were many events, and matches the experience of Google Calendar for familiarity.

To exit out of the pop-up screen, just click outside of the bubble or "X" on the Upper right.
