How are Collected Amounts Calculated when the Revenue Report is Generated on a per User Basis?

Objective:

  • To determine how the Collected Time Column in the Revenue Report is calculated.

Environment:

  • Clio Web App

Additional Information:

n/a

Answer:

Collected amounts are equally distributed based on the invoiced Time and Expense amounts. For example, if two Firm Users appear on a Bill and User A has an entry for $100.00, while User B has an entry for $150.00 when a Client makes a payment, for example a $100.00 payment, that payment will be distributed proportionally in the Collected Amounts for the Users.

In this situation, $40.00 will be attributed to the collected amounts for the Report for User A, while $60 will be attributed to the collected amounts for the Report for User B.
